Available Services

Classes

I can teach multiple classes ranging from drawing, painting, mixed media and print making.  I often charge a small fee and require the student to provide their own art supplies.  To sign up today for classes, please send the type of class you are interested in and age, name os student and we can arrange something.

Healing Arts Ministry

Facilitates a creative process that has been shown to often stimulate peace, comfort, and healing both mentally, spiritually and physically.  I get no monetary gain from offering this service to the community.  I only ask that you help give art supplies to the program.  I often will do a list of the following types of sessions: hospitalized patients and their families, addiction groups, women with infertility issues, vet groups, lower income after school children's groups.  I have limited space and limited spare time, so you will have to sign up in advance.  If you are an artist and want to sign up to become a facilitatory, please contact me as well.

Private Lessons

I can offer private art lessons, teaching the Elements of Art and Principles of design.  I can teach from 5 years old up through adult.  Art Lessons range from $15 to $25 an hour, depending on age.  Students are required to supply their own art materials.  Just contact me, I will review where you are and then we will discuss a supply list and all the details.  

Art Juror

I have curated and juried various art shows from elementary levels through adult with various groups in the community.  I rather enjoy jurying, but because I am an arts educator as well, I really like to do mini critique time allowing.  I find it much more rewarding for all, if I offer something other than just ribbons and medals, but an opportunity for growth and encouragement.  I usually jury children's shows for FREE and adult shows for a small fee.

Workshops

I will do workshops time allowing.  I have a list of variety of workshops, from basic drawing to painting, to printmaking to just introducing a specific type of material or fun subject matter.  Contact me and we will discuss the options in detail.  I often will do a 3 to 4 hour workshop for $50.

Portfolio Reviews

Are you a young person that loves art and would like a mini critiques. Are you headed off to art school or an art academy, and need someone to look over your portfolio and give you some pointers? I would love to do this service for you.  I will never forget leaving high school and creating my own portfolio.  This is a FREE service.  Just contact me and we will arrange a time for me to help you put everything together.  My goal is to encourage other artist and it would be an honor to help you.
