This cute little bird was inspired by a Florida bird called a Purple Martin.  While the Purple Martin is bigger and has a longer beek, I still think I captured the whimsical character of the breed.  I added the bee because of my dad.  He is a beekeeper and I am always keeping one eye open to identify the bees here in Florida, where bee and bird a like live harmoniously.   This wee piece measure approximately 3x3 inches, framed and stands upright by itself.
